Over the course of 2020/2021 we started to prepare Solitude for far away adventures. Below is a summary of some of the upgrades completed.
COMMUNICATION
– AIS
– SSB
– IridiumGo! for satellite communications

ENERGY
– 330 W solar panel with Victron energy charge controller
– Victron battery monitor
– All new electrical wiring

POWER
– 2000 W inverter

DINGHY
– AB dinghy
– Installed dinghy davits

REFRIGERATION
– Replaced compressor and evaporator plate

WATERMAKER
– Rainman watermaker (35 GPH)

SAFETY
– EPIRB

ANCHOR
– 56lb Rocna anchor

CANVAS & SAILS
– Replaced dodger, bimini and connector
– Replaced UV covers for headsail and staysail
– New asymmetrical spinnaker on a Bamar top-down furler

MAINTENANCE
– Renamed the boat and changed the homeport
– Replaced headsail and staysail furling drums
– Replaced head and galley sink faucets
– Cleaned and polished the diesel tank

2024 Upgrades
– New windlass
– Replaced companionway hatch slides
– Upgraded 5/8″ G4 High Test anchor chain to 275′ 3/8″ G4 High Test anchor chain
